Roger Dean Bailey

Roger Dean Bailey, 74, passed away at Medicalodges in Dewey, Oklahoma on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas on Tuesday, October 18th at 1:00 pm.

Roger was welcomed into the world on October 5, 1948 in Independence, Kansas to Mary M. Turner and George Bailey. Roger attended the Independence school system then entered in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, Roger returned to Independence and worked as a locomotive engineer. During his free time Roger loved to play pool, ride motorcycles, and classic cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, William (Tiny) Edwards, and sister, Robbie Yates
