Lillian Joyce Mills

Lillian Joyce Mills passed away at Generations of Batesburg, SC, on October 26, 2022. She was 90 years old.

Joyce was born May 29, 1932, to Vera May Howell and Ernest Henry Mellen, in Pratt, KS. She graduated from Pratt High School.

Joyce made her home in Independence, KS, where she retired from the US Postal Service. She enjoyed reading and loved animals, especially horses and dogs.

She is survived by three stepchildren; Anita Jones of Ozawkie, KS; John W. Mills of Leesville, SC; Mabel Livergood of Ozawkie, KS; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John E. Mills in 2017.

A graveside service will take place on November 21st at 1:00 pm at Mt. Hope cemetery in  Independence, KS.
