William "Wild Bill" Steen

On Tuesday, November 29, 2022 William “Wild Bill” Steen lost his long battle with pancreatic cancer.

One of Bill’s final wishes was to be wed to the love of his life before he departed this world. On November 21st Bill married Jessica Davis at the Grace United Methodist Church in Independence, Kansas. Wild Bill was always known as a wanderer, living life as he saw fit. Never one to settle down, he lived in California, Texas, Montana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kansas. He loved his family and enjoyed being the fun uncle and loving husband.

Wild Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Joyce (Intihar) Steen, his siblings, Tina Marie Steen, Russell Eugene Fasone, and Dora Eileen Jewel (Steen) Burruss.

His memory will carry on with his dear wife, Jessica, brother, Daniel Steen, niece, Tina (Eric) Townley, nephew, Joseph Steen, great nieces and nephews, Gwendolyn Hudson, Conner Blaker, and Emmilie Goodballet, and great-great nieces and nephews, London and Leilani Hudson. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel and service are scheduled at a later date.
