William (Bill) Jennings Dailey Jr., 84, of Elk City passed away at home on April 25, 2018. He was born November 3, 1933 to W.J. Dailey Sr. and Lillie Stephens Dailey in Lee County, Arkansas.
He served his country in the Air Force from 1953-1957. He married Charlene Blecha on September 16, 1974. He worked for Emerson Electric in Rogers AR. and later transferred to Independence, KS. to continue working for them until he retired in 1988.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.J. and Lillie Dailey, two brothers, Hulet and Marlin, and a sister, Maxine Hickman.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene of the home, daughter, Rosalind Snow and son, Anthony both of Springdale, AR, two brothers, Alvin (Marilyn) of Little Rock, AR and Dale (Karen) of Maumelle, AR; four grandchildren, Chris (Kasey) Snow of Pea Ridge, AR, Josh (Lisa) Snow of Bangor, PA, Nick (Julie) of Independence, KS, Loni (Toby) Muninger of Olathe, KS, and ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at the West Liberty Cemetery on Thursday, May 10th at 2:00 pm. The family has requested that memorials be left in Bill's name to the American Cancer Center. Online condolence may be made by visiting www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
