Vica Payne

Vica Juanita Payne, 89, of Independence died Sunday at the Regal Estates. A Celebration of Life Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday July 30, 2011 at the Potts Chapel, Independence with the Reverend Joe Davolt ,of the Bible Holiness Church, Independence, officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery under the direction of Potts Chapel, Independence. Visitation will be Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm with family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Potts Chapel . A memorial has be set up for the Independence Bible School and remembrances will be received at the Potts Chapel, Independence. Vica was born December 31, 1921, in Independence, Kansas, the daughter of Edgar and Mary Field Payne. Vica attended the Independence school System. She was a member of the Bible Holiness Church. Vica work as a Nurses Aide at Mercy Hospital, Independence retiring after 35 years . Survivors are nieces and nephews.
