TYLER DAVID “COOKIE” COOK
Tyler David “Cookie” Cook, age 27 of Independence, Kansas formerly of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 in Independence, Kansas.
Tyler was born September 1, 1993 in Wichita, Kansas son of Mike Cook and Christina & Michael Marler. Cookie grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and graduated from the Neodesha High School in 2012. He attended Hutchinson Community College to play football. Tyler worked at numerous locations with the most recent being Cobalt Boats. Cookie loved music, dancing, the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite retro Steelers Jersey. Most of all Tyler loved all of his family, nieces, and nephews. Every one he met became a close friend or family to him. He had a huge heart and trusted everybody and also had a contagious smile and a personality that would light up the room. Cookie was the life of the party no matter where he was.
Survivors include his parents; Christina & Michael Marler, Mike Cook all of Neodesha; siblings Austin (Kami) Cook of Cherryvale, Cameron (Lesley) Cook of Altoona, Michael Cook, Kyle (Stevie) Cook, Korey Cook all of Neodesha, Kylee Marler of Emporia, Ashton and Jaxton Marler both of Neodesha; nieces and nephews Addisyn, Kashtin, Braxtyn, Aubrey, Lakyn, Quentin, Owen, Kaden, Madalyn and Ben. Grandparents: John and Karen Link and Step grandparents Rick and Gail Marler.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather David L Spearman
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24. 2020 at the Christ Church in Neodesha, Kansas with Kyle Williams and Gary Larson officiating. Visitation for friends and family will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Friends may leave online condolences at www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
