Troy Sears

Troy R. Sears, 42, of Caney passed away Saturday at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Celebration of life services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Caney First Christian Church with Brad Sanders, officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 67 p.m. at Potts Chapel of Caney. Cremation will follow services with burial to be held at a later date. Troy Ryon Sears was born Aril 29, 1968 at independence, Kansas the son of John McClure Sears and Shirley Ann Banning Sears. He grew up in Caney and graduated from Caney Valley high school in 1986. He was employed as a caregiver and took care of his mother for many years. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Ann Sears of Caney, Kansas, and one sister Heather Miller and her husband Dustin of Caney, Kansas.
