Timothy Sutton

Timothy J. Sutton, 56, of Independence, Kansas passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at his home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, February, 16, 2011 at Potts Chapel of Independence. Cremation has taken place and private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Timothy James Sutton was born October 8, 1954 at Independence, Kansas the son of Olen Glen Sutton and Thelma Mae Sisco Sutton. He grew up and attended schools in Independence. He was united in marriage to Brenda Jackson and they later divorced. On September 16, 1996 he was united in marriage to Serena Kathleen Turcotte and she survives at the home. Timothy worked most recently for the Montgomery County Public Works Department and had also worked at the Alfala Mill, in the oil fields and for Scott Rock. Survivors include his wife Serena of the home, one son, Timothy James Sutton, Jr., of Cherryvale, KS, one daughter, Lori Leann Andres of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Glen Sutton of Cherryvale, KS, Carl Sutton of Burden, KS, one sister, Christine Landsaw of Independence, KS and 6 grandchildren.
