Thomas Moran Sr.

Thomas R. Moran, Sr, age 60, of Caney, Kansas passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at his home in Caney. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church in Coffeyville, Kansas with the Reverend Randy DePriest officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Thomas was born April 23, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph Thomas and Jonell Higginbotham Moran. He grew up in Louisville and attended schools in Louisville. He married Kimberly R. Purdy in Springdale, Arkansas on November 13, 1975. He is survived by his wife Kim Moran of the home in Caney, Kansas two sons, Thomas R. Moran, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Chanute, Kansas and Raymond L. Moran and wife Jennie of Caney, Kansas one daughter, Kimberly J. Kessler of Chanute, Kansas two brothers, Donnie Ezell and wife Beverly of Madisonville, Kentucky and Billy Ezell of Bardstown, Kentucky and ten grandchildren Alex, Melissa, Adriana, Haley, Havana, Hayden and Ryan Moran, Carly Wilson, Trenton Wilson and Kenzi Kessler He was preceded in death by his mother, Jonell Higginbotham Cleveland stepfather, Billie Ezell one brother, Jerry Ezell and one sister, Mary Ezell. Arrangements are under the care of Potts Chapel of Caney, Kansas.
