Thomas D. Hall, 70, passed away Friday, December 2nd at the age of 70, at the Topeka VA Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Julia A. Hall, his sons Christopher Lynn Hall (Stacie), William Dale Hall, Kevin DeWayne Hall, Alice DeAnn (Hall) West (Doug). His grandchildren are: Kansas Lynn Hall, Kolton DeWayne Hall, Zachary Thomas West, Abigail Grace West and Quinn Edward West.
Tom was born in Independence, Kansas to Nelson and Alice (Lakin) Hall.
Tom attended the Elk City, Kansas Grade School and High School, graduating in May 1964. He joined the 1011th Army Reserve Unit and served in Vietnam.
Tom worked for Springer Farms for 47 years in Sycamore, Kansas. He retired in September of 2013.
Tom and Judy moved to Osawatomie, Kansas in September of 2014. Tom liked to go antiquing. He was a member of the Paola Christian Church in Paola, Kansas.
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, December 5th from 6-8pm at Potts Funeral Home in Independence, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at Harrisonville Cemetery, southwest of Independence near Bolton, Kansas at 10:30am on Tuesday, December 6th.
