Thomas Church

November 30, 1957 — January 16, 2021

Thomas Eugene Church also known as Tommy or TC was born to Flossie Mae Church and Marvin Charles Church on November 30th of 1957. He entered eternal life on January 16, 2021. His spirit is carried on by his 7 children and 27 grandchildren 2 sibling and an extended family of relation and friends from every Walk of Life. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from this great man. Like compassion for the imprisoned and less fortunate. Stop and offer rides to people carrying a large load or caught in the rain or summer heat and if you can't then call a family member to come pick them up for you.  Believe the hitchhiker you picked up is having the worst day of their life which just so happens to be on their birthday and offer them 20 dollars to make their birthday better.  Learn how to whistle loudly by putting two fingers in your mouth, then when you need someone just use the whistle for a call. Spoil your woman . Open the curtains and let the sun shine in, yell rise and shine really loud to wake up everyone,  so they can enjoy the day if they don't get up just get the water hose it seems effective but can cause momentary screams and yells followed by a laugh and a, that was really cold!  Communicate like Marco Polo only yell aaaaaaaa oooooooo and wait to hear the reply aaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaa eeeeeee oooooo back. Rent a hotel room for a month for someone homeless. Take time out of your day to be there and listen to someone who is having a hard dark time. Smile everyday! Always tell your family you love them, never be scared to be affectionate and loving to your child!  It is impossible to say no to your daughter when she bats her eyes and says Daddy please! Spoil your son's , one day they will be in charge of you! Its as easy to keep your car gas tank half-full as it is to keep it half empty! Teach your daughter how to change a tire and to jump on the four way to tighten the lug nuts. It will help her one day down the road when  she's broke down and no one's around to help her.  Organize your pantry food so that you can count the spaces of what's missing to make your grocery list . Know that insanity sauce is called insanity for a reason unless your Tommy. Remember power is nothing without  ground.  Remember, "God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy". Tommy is survived by his children Son Travis Church (children Trevor, Tyler, and Jilian Church) ; Daughter Crystal Church(children Trevin and Talan Rash, Serenity Belair ,and Trinity Fitch); Son Thomas Church (children, Grace ,Sydney, Abella, and Ethan Church); Son Christopher Church (children Crizman, Jordan, Caleb, Jace , Cadence, Jesalyn, Silas, Christopher, Oliver,  Asher,  Abel ) ; Daughter, Trisha Church ;  Stepdaughter Jennifer Robertson(children Jayden, damian, Julia, caleb); adopted son Jr Dotson(children Alina) and  siblings Jimmy Church and Ronnie Rotramel.  Tommy is preceded  in death  by his  first wife Arlene Church his daughters Michelle and Shauna Church and his son Joshua Church as well as his siblings Jackie and Eddie Church. Tommy was a dedicated father and friend.  He worked as a diesel mechanic from 17 years till his death. The best mechanic there will ever be .  He loved nothing more then he loved his children.  They are his world and he is theirs!  As his daughter crystal writing this I have to add in I ONLY MISS U WHEN IM BREATHING DADDY UNTIL WERE REUNITED!  Friends and anyone who life was touched by Tommy are welcome to attend his Celebration of Life at Chestnut Venue 3120 E Chestnut Avenue Arkansas City, Ks 67005 Sunday January 24, 2021 at 12pm We will serve lunch.
