Terry Arnwine, 68, passed away peacefully at her home the morning of Thursday, September 30th, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Monday, October 4th, 2021 at 11:00am at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas.

Terry was born on November 30th, 1952. She was the daughter of Eddie and Margie (Penrod) Boorigie. She graduated Independence High School in 1970. She then attended Independence Community College and Emporia State University where she received an associates degree, later she received a certified para legal. She has worked for ACC, DCF, Young Williams Child Support Enforcement and Fema.

She loved dancing, baton, swimming, target shooting, oil painting and cooking. She was Queen Neelah XXVIII in 1969. Terry was also a member of Xi Epsilon Eta (Beta Sigma Phi) sorority since 1978. She was baptized at the Church of the Bretheren. She was also a foster parent for six years before falling ill.

Terry’s memory will be cherished by her loved ones: husband Art, of the home, son Elijah “Blue” Gragg, brother Kim and Tracy Boorigie and their family: Hunter, Samantha and Jason, and sister Cammie Boorigie.

Those preceding her in death were her son Joshua Bo Gragg, brother Kurt Boorigie, parents Eddie and Margie Boorigie and husband Dr. Steve McKenzie.
