Teresa Elaine (Morris) Goodman passed away on September 1, 2021. She contracted COVID as a healthcare worker. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at 11:00am at the Central Baptist Church, 4546 CR 2400, Coffeyville, KS. Visitation will be at Potts Chapel on Tuesday, September 7th, 1:00-7:00pm, with family greeting friends 5:00-7:00pm.
Teresa was born on Friday, October 13, 1961 in Coffeyville, KS to Bonnie (Miller) Morris. Teresa attended school in Coffeyville and graduated high school in 1979. She received her CNA from ICC. Teresa married Michael Goodman on February 20, 1992. Teresa held many positions during her 26 years at Mercy Hospital. While at Mercy, Teresa often worked at Down Home Family Restaurant. After Mercy closed, she transitioned to Wilson Medical Center.
Teresa is known for her sass and her loving heart. She was an avid shopper. She enjoyed being Grandma Resa, sewing, and Thursday Date Nights with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Michael, mother Bonnie Despaw, and brother Larry Morris.
Teresa is survived by her father Gene Despaw of Trenton, NC; daughters Elisabeth (Josh) Eads of Falls City, NE, Crystal (Ashley) King of Independence, KS, Teresa (Zack) Wright of Rea, MO, and Chelsie (Jacob) Becker of Bartlesville; sisters Kathy (Chuck) Pitts of Coffeyville, KS, Brenda (David) West of Coffeyville, KS, Melanie (Gary) Baker of Longview, TX; sister-in-law Candi Morris of Bloomington, IL; grandchildren Jordan, Austin, Elise, Anthony, Dylan, Ryan, Haven, Hailey, Asa, Hayden, Jude, and Justin; and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all her bonus children, including Samantha, Tanner, and bonus grandchild Maverick.
