Susan Joan Morrow, age 66, of Niotaze, Kansas died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her home in Niotaze, Kansas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2013 at Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas with Pastor Jeff Wyrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Potts Chapel of Caney. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and these remembrances may be left in care of Potts Chapel of Caney. Susan was born November 20, 1946 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Marvin and Elderra Goswick Beck. She grew up in Ark City and attended school there. She married Gary Morrow on December 9, 1964 in Newkirk, Oklahoma. They lived in Arizona and California until moving to Niotaze, Kansas in 1981. She worked at the Town Country Grocery Store in Caney until becoming the Manager. She worked there for many years until it closed down and then she worked at Cessna in Independence, Kansas. Her husband Gary preceded her in death on April 16, 2002. Susan was a homemaker and loved to bowl. She was very religious and donated to many church organizations. She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Ernest and husband Justin of Niotaze, Kansas two sons, Warren Morrow and wife Jessica of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Keven Morrow and wife Val of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma two brothers, Mike Beck of Los Angeles, California and Jeff Moore of Ark City, Kansas one sister, Connie Moore of Texas eleven grandchildren and best friend Deb Gulick and husband Mike of Caney, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Elderra Beck, her husband, Gary and one son and one sister. Arrangements are under the care of Potts Chapel of Caney, Kansas.
