Stella Boyer

Stella L. Boyer, age 89, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Fairview Cemetery with the Pastor Gerald Zuck of the New Hope Christian Church officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas. Stella was born April 12, 1921 in Morrilton, Arkansas to S.J. and Lavada Little Rainwater. Stella worked for 15 years for H.D. Lee in Cherryvale, Kansas and for 18 years for the Cherryvale Medicalodge before retiring. Survivors include four daughters Marlene Thompson of Cherryvale, Kansas, Linda Plute of Coffeyville, Kansas, Jamie Wells of Edna, Kansas and Sharon Case of Cherryvale, Kansas one son Roger Boyer of Bernice, Oklahoma numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
