Shane Hale

Shane Allen Hale, age 34, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at his home in Cherryvale, Kansas. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 5, 2009 at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas with the Reverend Steve Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2009 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas. Shane was born January 13, 1974 in Winamac, Indiana to Alvin and Virgie Dillingham Hale. He grew up in Arkansas and graduated from High School in Arkansas. Shane was employed at Eck Heating Air in Dearing, Kansas. Survivors include his father Alvin Hale of Cherryvale, Kansas; one son Travis Hale of Marion, Arkansas; two daughters Katie Hale of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Lea Hale of Marion, Arkansas; two brothers Brian and Tracy Hale both of Cherryvale, Kansas; three sisters Tammy Hale of Marion, Arkansas, Teresa Gillean of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Dawn Simmons of Cherryvale, Kansas.
