Roy Swager

Roy William Swager, 89, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Tuesday March 11, 2014 at his home.
Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale, Kansas with Pastor Duane Johnson of the Bible Holiness Church of Cherryvale officiating.
Inurnment will follow the service under the direction of the Potts Chapel of Cherryvale, Kansas.
The family has suggested memorials to the Shiners Hospital and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas.
Roy was born October 5, 1924 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Lee A. and Amanda Hour Swager. He grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from the Cherryvale School System.
Roy worked at the Continental Can Company in Coffeyville, Kansas and the Churchhill Well Supply Company in Chanute, Kansas.
Roy was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Independence and the Mirza Shrine.
Survivors include a son Raymond Lee Swager of Coffeyville, Kansas.
