Ron Wayne Seifert Sr. lost his battle due to cancer on February 13, 2014. Cremation will take place under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Ron was born in Pittsburg, Kansas, son of John and Elizabeth Seifert which preceded him in death.
He married Jan Thomlison and later divorced. In 1975 Ron was united in marriage to Alice May Beck, who was the love of his life. She survives with their four children two daughters Misty and husband Clint Lawson of Arkansas City, Kansas, Tiffany Seifert and companion Keisha of Pittsburg, Kansas, two sons Matt Goodwin of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Ronald Boo Seifert Jr. and fiance Amy, one sister Kitty and husband Duane Harris of Springfield, Missouri, MotherinLaw Alice Gartner of Independence, Kansas, Aunt Betty Perry of Pittsburg, Kansas. A proud grandfather of nine grandchildren James, Emily, Jaka Alice, Madison, Nathan, Layne, Elsa, Dawsyn, and Myles Henry, two great grandchildren Cayden and Jaxon, nephew Jason and wife Ann Lee of Pittsburg, Kansas, great nephew Adam, great niece Kelsey, and Niece April Lee of Joplin, Missouri.
Ron was a project engineer for MEC, Jordan Company and Assima Corporation for 30 years. Ron and Alice owned Hock or Shop in Independence, Kansas for over 25 years, along with their son, Ronald Boo Seifert Jr., who through thick and thin has made the business what it is today. Rons presence will be sorely missed.
Memorial Services will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Independence, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 with Darryl Graven officiating.
In Lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses or Cancer Center of Independence, Kansas and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas.
Ron was an amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather and brother who adored his family and friends and will be missed by all including Best friend Bill and Lousie Littlepage and their children Bobby, Judy and husband Tommy, Kevin and wife Stephanie and their families, Ginny and J.R. Davis and their children Darrin, Kelly and families, Billy Don and wife Brook and family, Annette and Wendy and special friends that came to the Hock or Shop for coffee and solving the worlds problems and last but not least the friends that became so dear to him at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.
