ROGER S. REDDY

Roger S. Reddy, age 65 of Independence, Kansas passed away Saturday November 12, 2016 at the Cherryvale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Mount Hope Cemetery with Paul Clifton officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas.

Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 with the family receiving friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel. Friends may leave online condolences at www.pottsfuneralhome.com.

The family has suggested memorials to the Cops and Rodders Association and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel.
Roger Stephen Reddy was born March 27, 1951 in Independence, Kansas to Francis J. and Erma M. Reddy. He grew up in Independence, Kansas and graduated from the Independence High School in 1969. Roger then attended and graduated from the Wichita Barber College. Roger worked in Independence as a barber for several years before working at Emerson and Heartland Cement which he worked for 29 ½ years before it closed. Roger loved to fish and was an avid firearms enthusiast. He also enjoying playing the piano and trumpet.
Survivors include two sons Jason and wife Tiffany Reddy of Independence, Kansas and Jaime Reddy of Lawrence, Kansas; one granddaughter Emma Reddy.
