Robert Bob Lee Yeats age 60, of Cherryvale, Kansas died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Lewark Church of God in Coffeyville, Kansas with the Reverend James Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials in his name to the Potts Chapel and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel. Robert Bob Lee Yeats was born August 27, 1949 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Marshall and Anna Mae Knight Yeats. He attended grade school in South Coffeyville, Kansas and attended high school in Lenapah, Oklahoma. On March 26, 1971 Bob married Delpha Wilson and the couple later
orced. Bob worked at Funk Manufacturing from 1972 to 1980. In 1980 he went to work for McBurney Construction Farmland until going to work as a mechanic for Genes Service in 1982 until 1988. In 1990 Bob went to work for the City of Cherryvale, as waste water operator and water plant operator. He was a member of the Emmanuel Chapel Church in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Survivors include one son Marty Yeats of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter Amy Bowlds of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mother Anna Mae Pehl, Sister Sheila Guinn of Edmond, Oklahoma; two brother Bill and Rex Haymaker both of Oklahoma; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; he was preceded in death by his father and one sister Marsha Powers Yeats.
