Robert Love

Robert C. Love CANEY - Robert Clyde Love, 45, a former Caney resident, died Sunday at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Orthodox Presbyterian Church with Tim Black officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetary. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Potts Chapel of Caney, with the family receiving visitors from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Animal Rescue Foundation ARF and donations may be left with the funeral home. Mr. Love was born Aug. 11, 1963 in Coffeyville, son of Billy M. and Sarah Jane Duckworth Love. He grew up in Caney and graduated from Caney High School in 1981. He went to a Fabric Institute, a dry cleaning school in Silver Springs, MD., and then moved to Colorado and worked at Safeway and did tile contracting. He last lived in Edwards, CO. He was a member of the Groceries Workers Union. Mr. Love is survived by his parents Bill and Sarah Love, Caney; a son, Robert Jerome Love, Hutchinson; a daughter, Bridget Garner-Perez, Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Jennifer S. Hallaway and Diana L. Graham, both of Tulsa, OK; and one granddaughter.
