Robert J. Bobby Harris, 33, of Tyro died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at his home in Tyro, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas with the Chaplain Mike Graham of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011 with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the AWOL or the American Cancer Society and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Robert J. Bobby Harris was born August 14, 1977 in Independence, Kansas to Randy Harris and Sharon Herrmann. He grew in Caney area and graduated from the Caney High School in 1998. Due to being legally blind Bobby was unable to work. Bobby enjoyed working with electronics, collecting dolphins, his pets, spending time with his nieces, and loved his companion Spice his cat. Survivors include Father Randy and wife Mary Harris of Fort Worth, Texas Mother Sharon McCleary of Caney, Kansas Grandfather Robert Herrmann of Independence, Kansas two brothers Josh McCleary of Caney, Kansas and Alex Martin of Fort Worth, Texas two sisters Shawna Neal of Coffeyville, Kansas and Brook Martin of Fort Worth, Texas two nieces Courtney Neal and Reygan Dunham both of Coffeyville, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Marjorie Herrmann.
