Robbie Bob Wilson Fisher, 59, of Edna, Kansas died Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Potts Chapel of Independence, Kansas with the Reverend Mark Wettengel officiating. Burial will follow in the Edna Elm Cemetery in Edna, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel. Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Potts Chapel in Independence. The family has suggested memorial to the Crosstimber Community Food Pantry of Edna, Kansas and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Bob was born November 13, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Ralph D. and Nancy A. Scott Fisher. He grew up in the Vinland and Baldwin City, Kansas attending the Baldwin City School System until his junior year. He then received his GED from the Lawrence, Kansas School System. In 1973 Bob was united in marriage to Jan Housworth and they made their home in Lawrence, Kansas. They later divorced in 1993. Bob was the owner and operator of the Zoe Lynn Inc. He was very active in the Mustard Seed Fellowship in Lawrence, and the Crosstimber Community Church in Edna, Kansas. Bob enjoyed fishing with friends. He was especially passionate about fishing with his granddaughters. He also loved KU basketball. He was a loving father and Papa and will be dearly missed by his family. Survivors include his mother, Nancy Fisher of Lawrence, Kansas two daughters, Amy Waisner of Edna, Kansas and Lisa Fisher of Fort Lauderdale, Florida brothers Martin Fisher, Danny Fisher, Gene Fisher and Larry Fisher all of Lawrence, Kansas sisters Teresa McDonald of Lawrence, Kansas, Janie of Lawrence, Kansas, Karen Fisher of Lansing, Kansas, Ruth Adkins of California two grandchildren, Zoe Waisner and Bronte Waisner of Edna, Kansas and several nephews and nieces. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Fuzzy Fisher, one daughter, Laura A. Fisher and one sister, Mary Elizabeth Fisher.
