Rita Jackie Daniels, age 80, of Caney, Kansas passed away Monday evening, May 19, 2014 at the Guest Home Estates in Caney, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Cornerstone Church in Caney with Pastor Brad Sanders officiating under the direction of Potts Chapel. Interment will follow at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Potts Chapel in Caney. The family will receive friends from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Cornerstone Church prior to the service.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Cornerstone Church, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or donors choice in memory of Jackie Daniels, and these remembrances may be left in care of Potts Chapel of Caney.

Jackie was born April 1, 1934 in Borger, Texas to Jack and Cecil Hanna. She married Samuel Andrew Daniels on September 25, 1949 in Perkins, Oklahoma. They moved to Caney on December 20, 1973 from Sterling City, Texas.

She was an Avon representative for over twenty years in Caney helping her customers look and feel their best.

Jackie and Andy moved to the Caney Guest House on February 11, 2012 where Andy currently resides.

She is survived by her husband of sixtyfour years, Andy Daniels of Caney, Kansas two sons, Jeff Daniels of Rowlett, Texas and Danny Daniels and his wife Debbie of Havana, Kansas three grandchildren, Jared and his wife Matty of Nashville, Tennessee, Jordan and his wife Abby of Skiatook, Oklahoma and Katilyn of Manhattan, Kansas one greatgrandchild, Alexandria Daniels of Skiatook, Oklahoma one sister, Thresea Dollar of Belton, Texas and one brother, Bruce Hanna of California.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Geneva Powell.

Arrangements are under the care of Potts Chapel of Caney, Kansas.
