Rebecca Whittley

Rebecca Becky Ann Whittley, 35, of Independence, Kansas died Monday, January 6, 2014 at her home.
A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday January 10, 2014 at the First Church of the Nazarene with the reverend Darren Melton Officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence under the direction of the Potts Chapel Independence.
Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Independence.
The family has suggested memorials to the Becky Whitley children Memorial Fund and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence.
Becky was born November 14, 1978 in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Marvin Jr. and Viola Holloway
Wilson. She grew up in Independence attending the Independence School System she also attended Independence Community College and received her Associate Degree.
Becky worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Med Aid and a Coach for Class LtD.
Survivors include her mother Viola Welch of Independence, Ks., two sons Lane Whittley and Tim Spellman both of Independence, Ks., one daughter Ashlee Wilson of Independence, Ks., one brother David Wilson of Independence, Ks., and one sister Michelle Wilson of Independence, Ks.
