Ralph Tincknell

RALPH MERTON TINCKNELL Ralph Merton Tincknell, 94, of Cherryvale, died Monday at the Cherryvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbytyrian Church in Cherryvale, with the Rev. Warren Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Tincknell was born April 19, 1915 in Morehead, the son of Conrad and Sarah Anne Basore Tincknell. He graduated from school in Morehead, KS. He married Freida Arlene Fogleman on Dec. 2, 1973 in Independence, and she survives. They moved in 1983 to Cherryvale. Mr. Tincknell was a farmer and member of the First Presbyterian Church. In addition to his widow, survivors include a stepdaughter, Roberta Henson, of Independence a brother, George Tincknell, of California a grandchild and two greatgrandchildren.
