Peter Mah

On this day, the Powers of the Universe called upon Peter J Mah to continue forth the work at hand. Son of Don Foon Mah and Sik Chun Mah; born July 30, 1963, Topeka, KS. Peter was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, Marine, husband, dad, and friend to all. Peter lived a Great Life with opportunities beyond his wildest dreams. Raised in Independence, attending local schools, he graduated from ICC and Washburn University. Peter managed restaurants, served as a US Marine (83-87), worked in retail, and served the Great State of Kansas (DMV). Life Member of the Marine Corps League (Member at Large). Peter married Hongmei (Deng, of China), and was blessed with two healthy boys, Samson and Alan, a sister and brother, Mary and Mike, nieces, and nephews. Peter enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, traveling, and fine dining. "Life is to be lived, live it." Memorials to Neosho Memorial Regional Hospital, Chanute, KS and the American Cancer Society can be left at Potts Chapel, Independence, KS. Celebration of life services will begin at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 19 at Potts Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 18 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
