Pearl Mishler

Pearl Marie Carr Mishler, age 84 of Independence, Kansas died Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence under the direction of the Potts Chapel. Pearl was born May 14, 1925 in Independence, Kansas to Charles A. and Rosie May Murch Carr. She grew up in Independence, Kansas and attended schools there. On February 10, 1947 Pearl married Milveard Vernon Mishler where they made their home. Milveard Vernon Mishler preceded her in death. Pearl was a homemaker and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include one son Vernon Arthur Mishler of Caney, Kansas one daughter Donna Ruth Zehring of Shawnee, Kansas one brother Paul J. Carr of Wellton, Arizona one sister Marie L. Swinney of Plano, Kansas one grandson Robert Owen Barnes of Big Spring, Texas.
