Pauline Stephenson

Pauline G. Stephenson, 93, formerly of Grove, entered into eternal peace on March 7, 2017 at Neodesha Care and Rehab in Neodesha, Ks with her granddaughter Jennifer at her side.
Pauline was born on December 17, 1923 to Paul Gaudet, Jr and Laura Madere in Reserve, La. She remained in Louisiana into her twenties when she married Leland Stephenson on February 3, 1944. Following their marriage they moved to Independence, Ks where they raised two sons, Greg and Michael. In 1973 they moved to Grove, Ok where they later divorced. Leland passed away in 2004. Pauline worked as a secretary for many years along with being a mother. Pauline was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and Altar Guild in Grove, Ladies Moose Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary of VFW and a Former Member of the St. Andrews Catholic Church and Ladies Alter Society in Independence, Ks.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Thomas, Vernon and John Ellis and her beloved son, Greg.
Pauline is survived by her brother Louis Gaudet and sister Joanne (Gaudet) Catoire both of Louisiana; son Michael Stephenson of Grove; daughter in law Linda Stephenson, grandson Shawn and great grandson Ayden all of North Carolina; granddaughter Jennifer Marler and significant other Sam Tomlinson and great grandchildren Kylee, Ashton, Jaxton Marler and Madison and Emily Tomlinson all of Neodesha, Ks.
Cremation will take place per Pauline's wishes with a private family service at a later date.
Memorials in Pauline's name may be made to the St. Andrews Episcopal Church Building Fund and mailed directly to them at 555 E 3rd St, Grove, Ok 74344.
