Paula Main Crigger 81 of Harrisonville Missouri passed away surrounded by her children Sunday October 26, 2014 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday November 23, at Potts funeral chapel 122 S. Penn, Independence Ks.
Paula Ann Main was born June 20, 1933 to Paul and Margaret Main of Independence Kansas. She attended Avila College in Kansas City where in 1956 she earned B.S. Nursing and minored in Theology. Paula worked as a registered nurse retiring in 2001 from St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City after more than 50 years of service.
Paula is survived by her four children David wife Erica Marks, Elizabeth Libby, Martha husband Ron Fuller, Paul wife Megan and grandchildren Ken and Grace. She was a mother to all children and an outspoken voice against injustice. Intolerant of racism and bigotry Paula was an advocate for equal rights and womens rights both in personal and professional life.
The family suggests memorial contributions League of Women Voters, National Organization for Women, Harrisonville Public Library, or the Harrisonville Community Center. Arrangements: Potts Funeral Chapel, Independence, KS 620 3315600.
