Patricia L. Wadsworth, 75, of Independence passed away Saturday at the Montgomery Place, Independence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from noon to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p. m. at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas.
The family has suggested memorials to the American Heart Association and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence.
Patricia was born July 23, 1939 in Lawrence, Kansas the daughter of Henry D. and Louise L. (Cole) Swadley. She grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and Wichita, Kansas Graduating from the Wichita School System.
On June 4, 1965 in Independence, Kansas Patricia was united in marriage to Marvin L. Wadsworth and he survives at the home.
Patricia worked in assembly line at Automotive Control Corporation in Independence.
Survivors include Her husband Marvin of the home two daughters Tracey M. Wadsworth of Independence, Ks., and April Renee Rutherford of Haysville, Ks., one brother Robert D. Swadley of Marshal, TX., one sister Martha L. Stacy and a sister-in-law Loretta Ellis of Cherryvale, KS., two grand children Emily Nicole and Janie Nicole Rutherford of Haysville, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mother Louise L. Swadley, and father Henry D. Swadley, sisters Mary Nelson and Barbara A. Wilson brother in law Glenn E. Wadsworth and mother-in-law Lena S. Wadsworth and father-in-law Mayo K. Wadsworth.
