Patricia A. Southall, 80, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at her home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Cherryvale Presbyterian Church with Reverend Steven L J Porter, officiating. Interment will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell, Oklahoma. Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Cherryvale Presbyterian Church and they may be left at Potts Chapel of Cherryvale. Patricia Anne Southall was born May 5, 1931 at Arkansas City, Kansas the daughter of William Leo Callahan and Carrie Pappan Callahan. She graduated from high school in Elk City, Oklahoma and also received her Bachelor of Home Economics degree from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma. On April 23, 1955 in Elk City, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Wayne Southall and he survives at the home. She worked as a Home Demonstration Assistant, Home Economics Teacher and Substitute Teacher in the Cherryvale area for many years. She was a tribal member of the Osage Nation and also a member of the Cherryvale Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband Wayne of the home one son, William Wayne Southall of Cherryvale, Kansas two daughters, Sharon Jahn and Kay Parks both of Allen, Texas and 5 grandchildren.
