PATRICIA PAT DEAN LEEDY NEWS MEDIA NOTIFICATION Patricia Pat D. Leedy, age 54, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma formerly of Neodesha, Kansas died Friday, January 8, 2010 at her home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Christ Church in Neodesha, Kansas with the Pastor Dave Cheshier officiating. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Bartlesville Cancer Center and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Pat was born June 3, 1955 in New Haven, Connecticut to Harold and Louva Norton Mullins. She grew up in Caney, Kansas and attended the Caney High School. Pat then graduated from the Truck Driving School in Fort Scott, Kansas. She drove for Smith Chambers in Fort Scott for over 12 years. Pat then owned and operated restaurants for several years. She recently worked as a cook at the Medicalodge in Coffeyville, Kansas. Pat married Charles Jackson and the couple later divorced. On February 14, 1995 Pat married Larry Leedy in Neodesha, Kansas where they made their home. Pat attended the Assembly of God Church in Independence, Kansas. Survivors include her husband of the home two daughters Cheryl Jackson and husband Chris McElyea of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Lori Zamora and husband Al of Bartlesville, Oklahoma four step sons Larry Leedy Jr. of Wyoming, Duane Leedy and wife Beth of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Darron Leedy and wife Angela of Hernando, Mississippi and David Leedy and wife Amanda of Dyersburg, Tennessee one brother Richard Patterson of Merritt Island, Florida three sisters Bea Hammer and husband Rex of Altamont, Kansas, Lora Perry and husband Chuck of Nowata, Oklahoma and Betty Kuehne of Neodesha, Kansas. Eight grandchildren Ashley Houser, Shelby Koehn, Justin Houser, Dani Leedy, Selena Zamora, Shaley Leedy, Tanner Sherman, and Ciara Zamora four step grandchildren Coy Leedy, Nate Leedy, Bryleigh Leedy and Alaynna Leedy one great granddaughter Kianna Horner.
