Pamela Lynn Allen passed away at her home in rural Thayer Saturday morning, April 28th. Pamela was born March 11, 1986 in Parsons, Kansas to Kenneth and Tammy Hamilton Allen. She was 32. Pamela had attended Thayer area school, graduating from Thayer High School in 2004.
After graduation, Pamela spent 3 years in Austin, Texas, where she worked at HEB as a cosmetic consultant, before returning to Thayer, where she had pursued her dream of becoming a cosmetologist, attending cosmetology school in Independence, while working at Walmart. She started work at Salonika, in Parsons, in 2011, until her unexpected death.
Her coworkers and her clients loved her very much, and she had many friends. She was a very caring person and had a wonderful sense of humor and a very contagious laugh. She loved to draw and was a very talented artist. She was a very loving daughter and sister. Pamela would not hesitate to help someone in need. She loved to go fishing with her dad.
Pamela was preceded in death by her biological grandparents, and favorite aunt Dixie Gray, among others.
She is survived by her parents, sister Dixie Allen of Kansas City, Missouri, special cousin Rhonda Chaffin of Austin, Texas, best friend and coworker Savannah Root, Uncle Joe Hladky, of Neodesha, Kansas, honorable grandparents, Wayne and Christine Hladky, of Sycamore, Kansas, and several other aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Cremation will take place and a Celebration Of Life will take place at the Salonika Church, at a later date, which will be announced by Salonika. Online condolence may be left at www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
