Noah Edward Corish, affectionately known as Nonka, was born on January 24, 2006, in Coffeyville, Kansas, and passed away on August 29, 2024, in Independence, Kansas. He was a vibrant young man whose humor and zest for life brought joy to everyone around him.
Noah had a passion for video games and loved to immerse himself in the pages of his favorite books. His ability to make others laugh was unmatched, and he often asked, "Are you ready for this!?" before sharing a joke or a funny story. Those who knew him cherished his honesty, caring nature, and strong-willed spirit. Noah was selfless, always putting the needs of others before his own.
He is survived by his loving family, including his dad, Byron Corish, and dad, James Powers; mom, Cassandra Hazen, and mom, Mandy Kerns; siblings Daemon, Ethan, Kaylee, Kayden, and Kylie; grandparents Brian Corish and Candy Corish, Tim Hazen and Liz Hazen, Robert Hancock and Paulette Hancock; niece Vivian Patton; five aunts, four uncles, and numerous cousins. Noah was preceded in death by his aunt Aubrey Lynn Hancock, uncle Chuck Corish, sister Lacey Powers, and nephew Vallen Patton.
We will be holding a public viewing on Sunday September 8th from 11a.m to 1p.m (11-12 will be open casket view. From 12 to 1 it will be closed) Services will follow.
Noah's legacy of positivity and laughter will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
