Nancy Katherine Burns, 60, of Parsons, passed away at her home, Thursday, June 21st, 2018.
A Memorial Service will be at the Center Bethel Church; 1699 18,000 Road Parsons KS 67357 at 11:000 am on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018. Memorials can be left for SKIL Resource Center 1801 Main; PO Box 957 Parsons, KS 67357 at the funeral home.
She was born September 23rd, 1957 in Independence to Paul Franklin and Ora Katherine (Ford) Burns. Nancy grew up in Independence where she attended school and graduated from Independence High School.
Nancy was a long time employee of SKIL Resource Center in Parsons. Nancy was an accomplished writer and had stories published in Reader's Digest, as well as various local publications.
Nancy loved people, and making people smile. She was best known for her contagious laugh.
Nancy leaves behind several cousins and her beloved SKIL family.
