Melinda Smith

Melinda Mae (Rosano) Smith, 44 of Neodesha, Kansas passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2020.

Melinda was born October 11, 1975 to Emanuel Rosano and Marilyn Wood. Melinda was a friend to all She enjoyed cooking, baking, watching movies, babysitting for her beloved friends and family, playing board games and swimming. She also enjoyed outings with her friends. She was a devoted member of her church and widely loved member of her community. She will be missed greatly by her friends, family and all who knew her.

Melinda is preceded in death by her grandparents, one nephew, and two great nieces.

Melinda is survived by her husband, Roland Smith of the home, sisters, Anna and husband Bob Lane of Buffalo, KS, Cindy and husband Jim Rosano of Highland, CA, Barbie Para of Buffalo, KS, Bill and wife Valarie Para of Cal City, CA, Gene and wife Diane Para of Good Year, AZ, Mike and wife Tammy Rosano of Calimesa, CA, parents, Marilyn and husband Mike Wood of Calimesa, CA, Emmanuel and wife Betty Rosano of Uvalde, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of Melinda’s life will be held at Christ Church, 1001 Elm St. Neodesha, KS 66757 on June 11th at 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions can be left in Melinda’s name to AWOL.
