Mary Mcclure

Mary Jane McClure, age 78, of Caney, Kansas died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at home in Caney, Kansas. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Private family services will be held at a later date. Mary Jane McClure was born June 30, 1933 in Havana, Kansas to Lee and Fossie Gardner Ross. Mary grew up in Havana, Kansas and attended the Havana School System. On March 7, 1948 Mary married James Leon McClure. He preceded her in death in 2000. Mary worked at the Box Plant, Caney Castings, and the Medical Lodge Nursing Home. She was a member of the Caney Christian Church. Survivors include one son Gene McClure of Caney, Kansas 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Terry McClure and 12 siblings.
