Mary Margaret Huffman Ebert passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at her home in Neodesha, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Bible Baptist Church with the Reverend Harold Stacey officiating. Private Family Burial will follow in the Swede Center Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Bible Baptist Church with the family receiving friends. Friends may also sign the online register book at www.pottsfuneralhome.com The family has suggested memorials to the Bible Baptist Church and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. Mary Margaret Huffman Ebert, was born June 25, 1918 in Rural Chanute, Kansas, the daughter of George T. and Beulah Eaton Huffman. On December 14, 1939 Margaret married Henry T. Ebert in Independence, Kansas. He preceded her in death November 29, 1988. She loved music and was a pianist for the Bible Baptist Church in Chanute, Kansas for many years. While in Chanute, she enjoyed the McDonalds Breakfast Club and going on Tours with Good Will. She moved to Neodesha in 2004 to be near family. She attended the Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed Senior Citizens and the Birthday Club. Survivors include one son Charles W. Ebert his wife Linda a grandson, David, his wife Kelli, a great grandson, Kellen all of Independence, Ks and a granddaughter, Karen of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
