Mary E. DufoeMcMurtry, 83, of Comanche, Oklahoma, formally of Caney, Kansas, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the El Cado Cemetery with Mike Morris officiating. Friends may register from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Potts Chapel of Caney with the family receiving guests from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Chapel. Mary was born February 23, 1930 in Niotaze, Kansas to Clarence Fay and Martha Myrtle Hann Finney. Mary attended Sedan schools. In her free time Mary enjoyed Gardening, Canning, Fishing and attending Music Festivals. Mary was married to Claude Marrion Dufoe on July 6, 1948 in Miami, Oklahoma. Claude passed away on November 25, 1993. Mary then married Robert McMurtry on September 27, 2003 in Duncan, Oklahoma and Robert passed away on March 6, 2004. Mary is survived by 13 children, Joyce Wright and companion Phillip Judd of Niotaze, KS Juanita Simpson of Oklahoma City, OK Judith Dan Smith of Nampa, ID Jim Pam Dufoe of Nampa, ID Janice Mike Murphy of Havana, KS Jerry Curt Hensley of Nampa, ID Jane Reding of Nampa, ID Chuck Dana Dufoe of Caldwell, ID Mike Dufoe of Middleton, ID Claude Sonya Dufoe of Havana, KS Martha Ron Hall of Havana, KS Tommy Dufoe of Comanche, OK Todd Jennifer Dufoe of Eldorado, KS and by 12 siblings, Alta Fuller of Collinsville, OK Sisterinlaw Pearl Finney of Collinsville, OK Hilta Gorby of Nowata, Ok Gene Finney of Chautauqua, KS Wanda Fay Riley of Sedan, KS Kyle Finney of Niotaze, KS Harold Finney of Coffeyville, KS Gary Finney of Ft. Smith, AR Melvin Finney of Independence, KS David Finney of Niotaze, KS Roy Finney of Manhattan, KS and Lyle Finney of Orofino, ID 33 grandchildren, 45 greatgrandchildren and 3 greatgreatgrandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Claude Dufoe, Robert McMurtry and two brothers, Danny Merl and Johnny Ernest Finney. Arrangements are under the care of Potts Chapel and Cremation Service of Caney.
