Martha was welcomed into this world the 3rd child of 5 on January 4, 1970 in Elgin, Kansas to David Wayne and Shirley Jean (Bohannon) Gray. Martha grew up in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and attended the Pawhuska school system. Martha married Thomas McKinney in Sedan, Kansas and the two began to build their home and family. With three children already in the home the two welcomed two more through the years. They later divorced. In 2017, Martha moved to Independence and began working at Montgomery Place Skilled Nursing as a CNA. It was also in this same year that she met Tracy Srader, and the two began dating. Through the years Martha and Tracy began to build a life together. The two enjoyed camping, and fishing together. Martha loved to play BINGO and watch her favorite television shows, Wheel of Fortune and Walker Texas Ranger. But most of all Martha loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her memory will carry on with her partner, Tracy Srader, sons, Raymond Holt, Dustin Holt, and Eldon Srader, daughters, Sheila Gray, Amanda McKinney, Cheyenne Srader, Dixie Srader, and Tracey Srader, sister Debbie Edwards, brother, Danny Gray and nine grandchildren.
