Martha Engman

Martha Faye Engman, age 88, of Independence, Kansas, died on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Mercy Hospital. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September, 27, 2011 at the Mount Hope Cemetery Independence, Kansas with Associate Pastor Cody Haviland of the First United Methodist Church officiating, under the direction of Potts Chapel, Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 pm8:00 pm on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Potts Chapel Independence. Martha Faye Engman was born October 14, 1922 at Ottawa, Kansas the daughter of Mac Clarke and Ina Clarke. She married William Andrew Engman on October 28, 1945 in San Pedro, California. William preceded her in death on December 7, 1996. She moved to Independence in 1980. She was a homemaker and attended the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include: daughter, Cathaline CheathamWoods of San Diego, CA. son, David Engman of Northridge, CA son, Charles Engman of Simi Valley, CA. son, Timothy Engman of Flagstaff, AZ. daughter, Peggy Wright of Texarkana, TX. and son, James Engman of Independence, KS.
