Martha Crosson

Martha Ann Crosson, age 93 formerly of Independence, Kansas died Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Presbyterian Manor in Parsons, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Mount Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Martha was born June 21, 1918 in Ramona, Oklahoma to John Edward and Beatrice Elaine Whitford Crosson. Martha grew up in Independence, Kansas and graduated from the Independence High School. Martha also graduated from Independence Community College and the Pittsburg State Teachers College. Martha was a teacher at various schools and member of several teachers associations. Survivors include one brother James E. Crosson of Newfane, Vermont and one brother in law Robert H. McHenry of Wenatche, Washington.
