Marsha Humphreys

Marsha Humphreys, age 68 of Independence, Kansas passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her home in Independence, Kansas.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Potts Chapel with the Reverend Dick Drumeller of the Crystalbrook Church officiating.

Marsha was born July 1, 1947 in Cherryvale, Kansas to Everitt R. and Elvira (Cortez) Ogle. She grew up in Cherryvale, Kansas and attended schools at Cherryvale and Labette County. Marsha worked for Frazier Meadows as a CNA among other nursing facilities for over 30 years. She was a member of the Crystalbrook Church.

Marsha's life was filled with love and kindness which she bestowed upon all who met her. She loved her family dearly & will be missed greatly. She loved all of God's creatures.

Survivors include four children; son Robert Humphreys IV and wife Denise of Longmont, Colorado, Daughter Melissa King and husband Mark of Adams, Tennessee, Daughter Laura Gilmore of Fort Worth, Texas and son Michael Humphreys and wife Michelle of Topeka, Kansas; three brothers Allen Ogle and wife Marsha of Parsons, Kansas, Dale Ogle of Independence, Kansas and Donnie Ogle and wife Jeanie of Omaha, Nebraska. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents Everitt Raymond Ogle and Elvira (Cortez) Ogle and one granddaughter Sarah Humphreys.
