Marjorie Fleig

Bolton, Kansas

Marjorie (Marge) Ann Sents Fleig, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to her heavenly home on October 2, 2020 at her daughter Carol's home in Bolton, Kansas. Potts Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.

Marge was born to E.A. and Anna Conrad Sents in Wellsburg, Iowa and grew up on the family farm with her older siblings —Tillie Sents Anderson, Henry, Aeilt (Allie), and George.

Marge graduated from Allen Memorial Nursing School in Waterloo, la in 1950, during which time she met her future husband Delbert Fleig of Richland, la through mutual friends. They married November 23, 1951 and lived most of their 62 years of marriage on the family farm north of Richland.

Marge will always be remembered for her beautiful piano playing, her cake decorating, and her 42 years of compassionate nursing both in hospitals and in the neighborhood and her love for her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Delbert, son Curtis (both in 2014), and grandson Aaron Hoeksema in 1983.

She will be missed on earth by her daughters Carol (Grady) Miller of Bolton, Kansas; Cindy (Steve)

Hoeksema of Clive, Iowa and Jolene (mike) Salzwedel; grandchildren:Philip(Kelly) Miller,

Jonathan(Bridget) Miller, Michelle(Chris) Gordon, Amy(Dennis) Lock, Andrea(Ben) Tigges, Katie

Hoeksema, Marcus Fleig, Kiersten Fleig, Mason Miller and Trevor Rush and was a GG(Greatgrandma) to Jacob, Bailey Stanley, Natalie, Noah, Jocelyn, Eli, Triston, Hailey, Simon, and Cody.

Mom will be forever missed, but Carol and Cindy were grateful to be able to walk her home to heaven to be with her Savior and loved ones there. Thank you, mom for always being there for us and teaching us to love the Lord and each other.

Memorials may be sent to the Bolton Friends Church, 2751 SW Barnes Ave., Independence, KS                                                                                                                                                           67301. (Marge and Delbert helped build this church.

A memorial of Marge's life will be held in Bolton on Sunday, October 4"' at 2:00 p.m. with a celebration and internment to be held next summer in Richland. la.
