Marjorie Ellen (James) Eaton 78, passed away at her home in Oswego, Kansas on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

Marjorie was born in Cherryvale, Kansas on October 29, 1945 to Charles Oscar and Margaret Dean (Low) James. Marjorie was a truck driver by trade and spent countless hours traveling. During her free time, she loved to go fishing and camping, baking and tending to her gardens. She also loved to spend as much time as possible with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by father, Charles Oscar James, mother, Margaret Dean (Low) James and sister Mary Charlene (James) Dulohery and husband, Donnie Wayne Eaton.

Survivors include daughter, Cindy Ellen Cottrell, grandson, Joshua Daniel Eaton, brother, George William James, brother, Robert Lee James, brother, Charles Edward James, great granddaughter, Nova Jean Eaton and great grandson Luv Micheal Eaton. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 22nd at Potts Chapel in Independence from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00pm with burial following at Ross Cemetery in Neodesha. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit, www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
