Marilyn Bone

Marilyn D. Bone, 61, of Cherryvale passed away at her home on Thursday August 6, 2015.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a. m., Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Potts Chapel Cherryvale, Kansas. With the Reverend Wayne Hett officiating.
The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Association and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale.
Marilyn was born July 9, 1954 in Moses Lake Washington the daughter of Robert E. and Burtha (Ackerman) Boyer. She grew up in Thayer, Kansas and graduated from the Thayer School System she also attended the Chanute Community College in Chanute, Kansas.
In 1974 Marilyn was united in marriage to Danny E. Bone in Thayer, Kansas and the couple made their home in Cherryvale, Kansas. Danny survives at the home.
Marilyn worked for many industries in and around the Independence area and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Hazeldale Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Danny E. Bone of Cherryvale, KS. , One son Samuel Bone of Cherryvale, KS. two daughters Tina M. Stewart of Independence, KS., and Chrystal J. Bone of Junction City, Kansas one brother Robert Boyer of ILL. And three sisters Mona Thornton of Thayer, Kansas Patty Jones of ILL., and Debra Ungles of ILL. Fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
