Maria D. Bustos age 81, of Coffeyville, Kansas died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville, Kansas with the Father Ben Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Independence, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Reciting of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Maria was born January 24, 1931 in Capilla De Guadalupe, Jalisco Mexico to J. Cruz and Ma. Jesus Martin De Anda. She grew up in Capilla De Guadalupe and attended schools there. On July 12, 1985 Maria married Manuel Bustos in Nowata, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple moved to California before moving back to Coffeyville on December 12, 2007. Maria worked for Neil Todd Upholstery in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband Manuel of Coffeyville, Kansas step son James Anthony Bustos of Kansas City, Missouri step daughter Karen Rogers of Tennessee and one granddaughter Amanda Rogers of Tennessee.
