Margo Rinkenberger

Margo M. Botts Rinkenberger, 65, of Dennis , Kansas died Sunday July 25, 2010 at the Regal Estates of Independence. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas with the Reverend Jerry Botts officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. A memorial has be set up to the Kansas Cancer Center and remembrances will be received at Potts Chapel Independence. Margo was born October 25, 1944 in Carthage, Missouri, the daughter of Cecil and Hazel Shafer Botts. Margo attended school in Independence, Kansas. . On December 17, 1993 she was united in marriage to Roger Lewis Rinkenberger in Miami, Oklahoma he preceded her in death. Margo was a member in the Veterans of Foreign Wars the American legion and Eagles clubs. She was a cosmetologist and was self employed Survivors include her mother Hazel Shafer of Neodesha, Kansas three sons James Porterfield, Raymond Poterfield both of Dennis, Kansas and Robert Porterfield of Texas and five brothers Sonny Johnson of independence, Kansas John Botts, Jimmy Botts, Ronney Botts all of Neodesha, Kansas David Botts of Louisianan three sisters Sherry Turner of Independence, Kansas and Glenda Persinger of Sedan, Kansas and Linda Shafer of Neodesha, Kansas, six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
