Margarita (Maggie) Miesner, 52, of Independence passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a. m. Monday, November 23, 2015 at the St. Andrews Catholic Church, Independence with Father Andrew Heiman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence under the direction of the Potts Chapel Independence.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Potts Chapel with the family receiving friends from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p. m. at Potts Chapel.
The family has suggested memorials to AWOL and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel.
Maggie was born March 30, 1963 the daughter of Prudencio and Henrietta (Vasquez) Coronado. Maggie grew up in Humboldt, Kansas and graduated from the Humboldt school system.
On March 25, 2005 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas Maggie Coronado was united in marriage to Aaron Miesner and the couple made their home in Independence. Aaron survives at the home.
Maggie loved children and owned and operated a day care.
Survivors include Aaron her husband of the home, one son Gunnar Miesner and fiancé Shayla Burnett of Independence, two daughters Stephanie Mese and Husband Alex and Amber Schafer both of Independence, two brothers Frank Coronado and wife Sheila of Humboldt, KS, Henry Coronado and wife Janae of Frontenac, KS., two sisters Lupe Amin and husband Ali of Youkon,OK. and Rosa Wehlage and husband David of Humboldt, KS.and one grandson Bentley Mese.
Maggie was preceded in death by two sons Bo and Lance and one daughter Tiffany and her father Prudencio Coronado.
